Article 2 principal Agreement Article 3 of that Agreement The provisions of theshall apply to refugees under the same conditions as they apply to the nationals of the Contracting Parties thereto, provided thatshall apply to refugees only in cases where the Contracting Parties to the agreements to which that Article refers have ratified this Protocol or acceded thereto. 1954 98 20-07-1954 1955 38 15-04-1955 01-04-1955

Article 3 1 principal Agreement This Protocol shall be open to the signature of the Members of the Council of Europe who have signed the. It shall be ratified. 2 principal Agreement Any State which has acceded to themay accede to this Protocol. 3 This Protocol shall come into force on the first day of the month following the date of deposit of the second instrument of ratification. 4 As regards any Signatory ratifying subsequently, or any acceding State, the Protocol shall come into force on the first day of the month following the date of the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession. 5 Instruments of ratification and accession shall be deposited with the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, who shall notify the Members of the Council, acceding States and the Director-General of the International Labour Office of the names of those who have ratified or acceded. 1954 98 20-07-1954 1955 38 15-04-1955 01-04-1955

Artikel 2 Hoofdovereenkomst artikel 3 van de Hoofdovereenkomst Het bepaalde in deis toepasselijk op vluchtelingen onder dezelfde voorwaarden, die gelden voor de onderdanen van de Partijen bij die Overeenkomst. Evenwel wordt het bepaalde inslechts op de vluchtelingen toegepast in het geval, dat de Overeenkomstsluitende Partijen bij de in dat artikel bedoelde overeenkomsten dit Protocol hebben bekrachtigd of daartoe zijn toegetreden. 1954 198 18-12-1954 1955 38 15-04-1955 01-04-1955

Artikel 3 1 Hoofdovereenkomst Dit Protocol staat open voor ondertekening door de Leden van de Raad van Europa, die dehebben ondertekend. Het dient te worden bekrachtigd. 2 Hoofdovereenkomst Iedere Staat, die is toegetreden tot de, kan toetreden tot dit Protocol. 3 Dit Protocol treedt in werking op de eerste dag van de maand, volgende op de nederlegging van de tweede akte van bekrachtiging. 4 Ten aanzien van iedere Staat, welke het Protocol op een later tijdstip bekrachtigt of ertoe toetreedt, treedt het Protocol in werking op de eerste dag van de maand, volgende op de nederlegging van zijn akte van bekrachtiging of toetreding. 5 De akten van bekrachtiging en van toetreding zullen worden nedergelegd bij de Secretaris-Generaal van de Raad van Europa, die de Leden van de Raad, de toegetreden Staten en de Directeur-Generaal van het Internationaal Arbeidsbureau verwittigt van de namen van de Staten, die bekrachtigen of toetreden. 1954 198 18-12-1954 1955 38 15-04-1955 01-04-1955
