Protocol bij het Noord-Atlantisch Verdrag betreffende de toetreding van de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland

Article I Upon the entry into force of the present Protocol, the Government of the United States of America shall on behalf of all the Parties communicate to the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany an invitation to accede to the North Atlantic Treaty. Thereafter the Federal Republic of Germany shall become a Party to that Treaty on the date when it deposits its instrument of accession with the Government of the United States of America in accordance with Article 10 of that Treaty. 1954 177 25-11-1954 1955 107 03-08-1955 05-05-1955

Article II (a) (b) (c) The present Protocol shall enter into force, wheneach of the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty has notified to the Government of the United States of America its acceptance thereof,all instruments of ratification of the Protocol Modifying and Completing the Brussels Treaty have been deposited with the Belgian Government, andall instruments of ratification or approval of the Convention on the Presence of Foreign Forces in the Federal Republic of Germany have been deposited with the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Government of the United States of America shall inform the other Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty of the date of the receipt of each notification of acceptance of the present Protocol and of the date of the entry into force of the present Protocol. 1954 177 25-11-1954 1955 107 03-08-1955 05-05-1955

Article III The present Protocol, of which the English and French texts are equally authentic, shall be deposited in the archives of the Government of the United States of America. Duly certified copies thereof shall be transmitted by that Government to the Governments of the other Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty. 1954 177 25-11-1954 1955 107 03-08-1955 05-05-1955

Artikel I Bij de inwerkingtreding van dit Protocol zal de Regering der Verenigde Staten van Amerika uit naam van alle Partijen aan de Regering der Bondsrepubliek Duitsland een uitnodiging doen toekomen, tot het Noord-Atlantisch Verdrag toe te treden. Daarna wordt de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland partij bij dat Verdrag op de dag waarop zij bij de Regering der Verenigde Staten van Amerika haar akte van toetreding nederlegt in overeenstemming met artikel 10 van dat Verdrag. 1954 177 25-11-1954 1955 107 03-08-1955 05-05-1955

Artikel II (a) (b) (c) Dit Protocol treedt in werking wanneerelk der Partijen bij het Noord-Atlantisch Verdrag aan de Regering der Verenigde Staten van Amerika mededeling heeft gedaan dat zij het Protocol aanvaardt,alle akten van bekrachtiging van het Protocol tot wijziging en aanvulling van het Verdrag van Brussel bij de Belgische Regering zijn nedergelegd, enalle akten van bekrachtiging of goedkeuring van de Overeenkomst inzake de aanwezigheid van buitenlandse strijdkrachten in de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland bij de Regering der Bondsrepubliek Duitsland zijn nedergelegd. De Regering van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika stelt de andere Partijen bij het Noord-Atlantisch Verdrag in kennis van de datum van ontvangst van iedere mededeling van aanvaarding van dit Protocol, alsmede van de datum van inwerkingtreding van dit Protocol. 1954 177 25-11-1954 1955 107 03-08-1955 05-05-1955

Artikel III Dit Protocol, waarvan de Engelse en de Franse tekst gelijkelijk authentiek zijn, wordt in het archief van de Regering der Verenigde Staten van Amerika nedergelegd.
