Aanvullend Protocol bij de Overeenkomst inzake tijdelijke invoer, vrij van rechten, van medisch, chirurgisch en laboratoriummateriaal in bruikleen afgestaan aan ziekenhuizen en andere medische instellingen ten behoeve van diagnose en behandeling

Article 1 The European Economic Community may become a Contracting Party to the Agreement by signing it. In respect of the Community, the Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the month following such signature. 1983 20 24-01-1983 24-10-1983 1985 36 12-03-1985 01-01-1985

Article 2 1 This Additional Protocol shall be open for acceptance by the Contracting Parties to the Agreement. It shall enter into force on the first day of the month following the date on which the last of the Contracting Parties has deposited its instrument of acceptance with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. 2 However, this Additional Protocol shall enter into force on the expiration of a period of two years from the date on which it has been opened for acceptance, unless one of the Contracting Parties has notified an objection to the entry into force. Article 3 From the date of its entry into force, this Additional Protocol shall form an integral part of the Agreement. From that date, no State may become a Contracting Party to the Agreement without at the same time becoming a Contracting Party to the Additional Protocol. 1983 20 24-01-1983 24-10-1983 1985 36 12-03-1985 01-01-1985

Article 4 The Secretary General of the Council of Europe shall notify the member States of the Council of Europe, any State having acceded to the Agreement and the European Economic Community of any acceptance or objection made under Article 2 and of the date of entry into force of this Additional Protocol in accordance with Article 2. Artikel 1 De Europese Economische Gemeenschap kan Partij worden bij de Overeenkomst door deze te ondertekenen. Wat de Gemeenschap betreft, treedt de Overeenkomst in werking op de eerste dag van de maand die volgt op deze ondertekening. 1983 20 24-01-1983 24-10-1983 1985 36 12-03-1985 01-01-1985

Artikel 2 1 Dit Aanvullend Protocol staat open voor aanvaarding door de Partijen bij de Overeenkomst. Het treedt in werking op de eerste dag van de maand die volgt op de datum waarop de laatste van de Overeenkomstsluitende Partijen haar akte van aanvaarding heeft nedergelegd bij de Secretaris-Generaal van de Raad van Europa. 2 Dit Aanvullend Protocol treedt niettemin in werking na het verstrijken van een tijdvak van twee jaar vanaf de datum waarop het voor aanvaarding is opengesteld, tenzij een van de Overeenkomstsluitende Partijen bezwaar tegen de inwerkingtreding heeft ingediend. Artikel 3 Vanaf de datum van zijn inwerkingtreding vormt dit Aanvullend Protocol een integrerend deel van de Overeenkomst. Artikel 4 De Secretaris-Generaal van de Raad van Europa stelt de Lid-Staten van de Raad van Europa, elke Staat die tot de Overeenkomst is toegetreden, alsmede de Europese Economische Gemeenschap, in kennis van elke aanvaarding of elk bezwaar bedoeld in artikel 2, alsook van de datum van inwerkingtreding van dit Aanvullend Protocol in overeenstemming met artikel 2. De Secretaris-Generaal stelt de Europese Economische Gemeenschap eveneens in kennis van elke handeling, kennisgeving of mededeling die op de Overeenkomst betrekking heeft. 1983 20 24-01-1983 24-10-1983 1985 36 12-03-1985 01-01-1985
