1 For the purposes of the present exchange of Notes, a ``trainee" means a person who has been accepted by the International Court of Justice into its traineeship programme for the purpose of performing certain tasks for the Court without receiving salary from the Court therefor. 3 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall register a trainee for the purpose of his traineeship with the Court for a maximum period of one year, provided that the Court supplies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a declaration signed by the trainee, accompanied by adequate proof, to the effect that: a) the trainee entered the Netherlands in accordance with the applicable immigration procedures; b) the trainee has sufficient financial means for living expenses and for repatriation, as well as sufficient medical insurance (including coverage of costs of hospitalization for at least the duration of the traineeship plus one month) and third party liability insurance, and will not be a charge on the public purse of the Netherlands; c) the trainee will not work in the Netherlands during his or her traineeship otherwise than as a trainee at the International Court of Justice; d) the trainee will not bring any family members to reside with him or her in the Netherlands other than in accordance with the applicable immigration procedures; e) the trainee will leave the Netherlands within 14 days after the end of the traineeship unless he or she is otherwise entitled to stay in the Netherlands in accordance with the applicable immigration legislation. 2004 268 08-11-2004 14-10-2004 2005 173 30-06-2005 19-04-2005 2004 268 08-11-2004 14-10-2004 2004 268 08-11-2004 14-10-2004 14-10-2004

1 Ten behoeve van de huidige uitwisseling van diplomatieke nota's, wordt verstaan onder „stagiair(e)" een persoon die door het Internationaal Gerechtshof is toegelaten tot zijn stageprogramma voor het vervullen van bepaalde taken bij het Hof zonder daarvoor van het Hof een salaris te ontvangen. 3 Het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken registreert de stagiair(e) ten behoeve van zijn of haar stage bij het Hof voor een tijdvak van ten hoogste een jaar, mits het Hof het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken een door de stagiair(e) ondertekende verklaring doet toekomen, vergezeld van voldoende bewijs, waaruit blijkt dat: a. de stagiair(e) Nederland is binnengekomen in overeenstemming met de van toepassing zijnde immigratieprocedures; b. de stagiair(e) over voldoende financiële middelen beschikt om in zijn of haar levensonderhoud te voorzien alsmede voor zijn of haar terugkeer, en voldoende verzekerd is tegen ziektekosten (met inbegrip van een dekking voor kosten van ziekenhuisopname voor ten minste de duur van de stage plus een maand) en een wettelijke aansprakelijkheidsverzekering, en niet ten laste zal komen van de openbare middelen van Nederland; c. de stagiair(e) gedurende zijn of haar stage in Nederland uitsluitend werkzaam zal zijn in het kader van zijn of haar stage bij het Internationaal Gerechtshof; d. de stagiair(e) geen familieleden meebrengt die bij hem of haar in Nederland zullen wonen, tenzij in overeenstemming met de desbetreffende immigratieprocedures; e. de stagiair(e) Nederland verlaat binnen 14 dagen na het einde van zijn of haar stage, tenzij hij of zij op andere gronden gerechtigd is in Nederland te verblijven in overeenstemming met de desbetreffende immigratiewetgeving. 2005 33 27-01-2005 14-10-2004 2005 173 30-06-2005 19-04-2005 2005 33 27-01-2005 14-10-2004 2004 268 08-11-2004 14-10-2004 14-10-2004
